Denmark, officialy Kingdom of Denmark or Kongeriget Denmark is Monarchy country with constitutional monarchy government system, and is located in Scandinavia. Executive authority is exercised on behalf of the monarch by the prime minister and other cabinet ministers who head departments. These ministers are responsible to Folketinget (the Danish Parliament). The Prime Minister of Denmark is Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

Denmark has been a member of the European Union since joining the European Economic Community in 1973. The economic condition in Denmark is one of the best with US $ 37,000 per capita of Gross National Product, that occupy in 6th rank from other country. Unemployment rate for 1998 was 6,3 percent, which is the lowest level in twenties years. Danish population is one of the most wealthier in the world. Income and wealth within Denmark are quite evenly distributed.

The capital of Denmark is Copenhagen. The population of Denmark approximately 5,2 million and about 1,4 million people of its total population live in the capital Copenhagen, and in suburban and another 0.6 million people live in the three other major cities – Odense in Funen, Arhus and Aalborg. A number of poor people live in slum dwellings and in homelessness in big city. Most of them are immigrants from South Asia and Middle East. Nowadays improving urban environment become Danish Government concern, in cooperation with other country in Europe under European Green Cities Network as a forum for dissemination of sustainable urban housing in order to build a living place for homeless people, reducing slum area in big cities and help speed up inovation for efficient urban housing, energy, and resources with some good facilitations and sanitary.
